Hi, I'm Jamie

If you've spent years caring for everyone else while quietly losing yourself...

If trauma, anxiety, or difficult relationships have left you exhausted...

If you've wondered why life feels harder for you than it seems to for everyone else...

I want you to know something before we go any further.

You are not broken. Your mind and body learned how to survive.

Together, we can help them remember what safety feels like.

For nearly thirty years, I've walked alongside people as they heal from trauma, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with themselves.

I've worked in hospitals, schools, community mental health, higher education, outpatient clinics, and private practice. Different settings, but the same truth kept emerging.

Beneath every story... There is a longing:

To feel safe.

To feel understood.

To feel at home within yourself.

That realization changed the way I understand healing — and the way I practice therapy.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply trauma-informed.

The tools I use are evidence-based — but the way I use them is always guided by you.

I draw from EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and Person-Centered Therapy — weaving them together in a way that fits who you are, rather than asking you to fit a model.

I work with people who have spent a long time feeling like too much — or not enough.

Adults, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, identity, relationship pain, life transitions, and the quiet weight of patterns that no longer serve them.

I offer fully affirming care for LGBTQIA+ individuals and relationships — including polyamorous, kink, and sex-positive communities — because every version of who you are deserves to be welcome here.

Whatever brought you to this page... There is a place for you in this work.

Above all... I believe therapy should be a place where you don't have to pretend.

You don't have to have it all together.

You don't have to perform.

You simply have to arrive.

Why I Created Coming Home™

After nearly thirty years as a therapist, one belief became impossible to ignore.

Healing isn't becoming someone new. It's remembering who you were before survival convinced you that you had to become someone else.

That belief became the foundation of the Coming Home™ Method — a trauma-informed approach that helps people reconnect with themselves through nervous system healing, parts work, mindfulness, and evidence-based therapy.

Coming Home™ is growing beyond the therapy room through books, journals, courses, and the Coming Home™ Collective — so this work can reach you wherever you are on your journey.

Whether we meet in therapy...

Or through the Coming Home™ community...

My hope is the same.

That you leave feeling more connected to yourself than when you arrived.

You don't have to have this figured out to reach out.

If something on this page felt familiar — a word, a line, a quiet recognition — that's enough.

Healing rarely begins with certainty. It begins with a single moment of "maybe this could be different."

When you're ready to begin coming home — I'll be here.
